Please join us on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, from 11:30am – 1pm, for our monthly Alaska Chapter ASSP luncheon meeting. Remember, we are now meeting at the BP Energy Center, 900 E. Benson Boulevard, Anchorage, AK 99508.
After networking with your peers and eating a great lunch, we will have an opportunity to share some tips and lessons learned from the earthquake on November 30. Then you will have a chance to show off your skills as a safety professional during a very competitive and exciting game of Safety and Engineering Challenge. Prizes for highest score, as well as door prizes will be awarded.
Also, this luncheon will be a combined event with the Anchorage Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). The Society of American Military Engineers is the only nonprofit professional engineering education organization that actively promotes the advancement of both individual technical knowledge and the collective engineering capabilities of governments, the uniformed services, and private industry. SAME’s goal is to unite public and private sector entities and individuals in the A/E/C fields so that we can prepare for and overcome natural and man-made disasters, acts of terrorism and improve security at home and abroad.
***We will be collecting financial donations for the American Red Cross of Alaska, an organization that helps our communities during disasters. If you wish to donate to the American Red Cross of Alaska, you can bring your cash or check to the luncheon and the AK Chapter of ASSP will issue one check to the organization.***
Luncheon Pricing: $15 for regular admission; $10.00 for students.
